Principal Property Manager- 12 month Fixed term
We are looking for a Principal Property Manager to join our Property Optimisation team on a 12-month Fixed term contract.
This role will provide high quality, professional, commercial property expertise across multiple property portfolios including retail, transport and future project land.
It will implement best practice property management processes and strategic direction on each portfolio and maximize utilisation of the property portfolio, contributing to customer focused transport facilities and AT's strategic outcomes.
Key Tasks
Manage property related aspects of operational transport assets (transport / rail leases, off-street parking commercial leases)
Work with Auckland Council to optimise returns from land held for future transport projects.
Manage retail tenancies, including marketing, leasing, fitouts, lease / licence agreements, rent reviews, renewals and expiries.
Oversee the strategic direction of the property portfolios including managing future work pipeline and ensuring processes are in place to meet contract obligations and deliverables.
Implement AT's retail strategy including identifying, evaluating and developing innovative retail opportunities across the transport network.
Develop new plans, strategies and property management processes to improve value for money and customer experience delivered by the property portfolio.
Develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as AT Metro, Parking Services, Finance, Portfolio Delivery, Auckland Council and Kiwirail.
Qualifications
A relevant tertiary degree or qualification is required in Business, Property, Valuation or Finance.
Minimum 7+ years' experience in commercial property management.
Experience in Microsoft office suite.
Knowledge in property related legislation.
Desirable will be some knowledge in SAP RE or similar property management system and managing the financial aspects of a property portfolio.
