  • We're seeking for an experienced
  • (HS) Health and Safety Advisor
  • to join us at Fulton Hogan based out of the office in
  • Ranui, Auckland
  • We're expanding our H&S team within our Civil Construction business, and you'll be part of our committed group of H&S Advisors working across multiple Auckland based projects.In this role, you'll provide exceptional leadership, guidance, and mentoring to our high-performing Civil project teams on the frontline supporting our people, clients, and subcontractor partners.

    Reporting directly to the Auckland Civil H&S Manager, to support our people on our

  • Your skills and experience will support our strategic objectives which includes helping deliver high quality work we're known for.This is a role requires strong and credible safety leadership with a number of different day-to-day responsibilities working in both re-active and pro-active environments.

  • In addition to the above you will :
  • Ensuring the implementation and consistent application of our systems, plans, policies, initiatives and strategy within your projects.
  • Building trusting relationships to influence and collaborate on solutions.
  • Lead and support your projects to deliver all aspects of their work, managing safety performance.
  • Providing frontline HS support, advisory and coaching to site teams, subcontractors & clients.
  • Ownership and delivery for project Safety specific events and initiatives.
  • Review and Lead Incident investigations
  • Assisting in the development of site specific HS management plans & safety in-design methodology.

  • We're looking for someone with :
  • Health and Safety qualifications at level 6 or above (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong working knowledge of H&S legislation, standards, and regulations specific to civil construction.
  • Good awareness of Safety II and HOP principles.
  • Hold a class 1 NZ drivers licence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams and lead through mentoring, negotiation, and change management.
  • Advanced analytical and coordination abilities, including data analysis, reporting, conflict resolution, and task prioritisation under pressure.
  • High level of computer literacy with ability to train others in the use of proprietary apps and software.
