We are currently looking for two experienced Shift Supervisors to join our innovative friendly team. One on our afternoon shift 2pm-11pm and one on our night shift 10pm-7am.
You will be responsible for supervising and facilitating the day to day goings on in the Factory and making sure production runs as smoothly as possible.
Key responsibilities include :
Leading the production team and ensuring labour is rostered and allocated as efficiently as possible.Starting / stopping and basic troubleshooting of Production machines.Working with key stakeholders to ensure production meets quality expectations and is running as per production plan.Managing preparation of raw materials for current and next production jobs.Production data recording and receipting finished products into stores.Daily reporting of shift performance and regular effective communication with key stakeholders.Ensure all manufacturing documentation is followed so that safety, quality and efficiency are maintained to ISO : 9001 and ISO : 22000 standards.The successful candidate will have the following qualities :
Great Leadership and people skills.Strong problem‑solving skills giving the ability to make confident and quick decisions.Experience and knowledge of current Health and Safety practices.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Able to multitask, prioritise and manage time accordingly.At least 3 years’ experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment.Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.Computer literacy is essential.Injection Moulding or Plastics Manufacturing experience is preferable but not essential.ISO : 9001 and ISO : 22000 Standard experience is preferable but not essential.If the above ticks your boxes, please click apply and send your CV and details through as soon as possible.
