Senior Integration Specialist - Workday
We are offering a new permanent opportunity based in Auckland or Wellington.
The role will be instrumental in ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency across Beca's enterprise systems.
You will maintain and support inbound and outbound integrations, resolve issues, and contribute to developing new interfaces that align with evolving business needs.
The role supports the deployment and ongoing enhancement of Workday as the new HRM system and its integrations with Datapay, the payroll system.
There are opportunities to upskill in Oracle Fusion and Datapay integration support.
This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of experience who combines technical proficiency with Workday integration tools, and has strong communication and collaboration skills.
You will work closely with HR, IT, Finance, and Payroll teams, contributing to the success of several large enterprise systems as part of a stable ICT team.
About you
You will have a strong background in enterprise systems integration, with a deep understanding of data flows, interface design, and system interoperability.
Hands-on experience with platforms like Workday, Oracle, and Datapay, plus the ability to manage integration lifecycles and troubleshoot issues, makes you an ideal candidate.
You are passionate about delivering robust, secure, and scalable integrations and should have :
Proven experience with Workday integration tools, for example, Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, RaaS, PECI / PICOF, and Web Services (SOAP / REST).
Familiarity with Datapay or Oracle Fusion integration support (e.g. OCI, OIC, Autonomous databases) or a willingness to upskill in these areas.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across HR, IT, Finance, and Payroll teams.
A proactive mindset with the ability to assess system releases for integration impacts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
A commitment to data integrity, security compliance, and knowledge sharing within a collaborative ICT environment.
