  • The Opportunity
  • We are seeking a forward thinking and experienced Maintenance Divisional Manager to lead our operations, promote safety, and inspire team excellence within the division.
  • In this pivotal leadership position, you will report directly to the Regional Manager and oversee the full spectrum of maintenance contracts and operational responsibilities.

    Your role will encompass strategic planning, budgeting, fostering the professional growth of your team, and building strong, positive relationships with our clients.

    You will play a key part in ensuring successful project delivery, maintaining high safety standards, and driving operational performance within the region.

  • In addition to the above you will :
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery, secure future work, and uphold Fulton Hogan's reputation for quality and collaboration
  • Oversee operational delivery, including planning resources, managing subcontractors, and resolving any issues affecting job progress or client satisfaction
  • Monitor team performance and compliance, ensuring records are accurate, safety procedures are followed, and financial goals are met through proactive oversight and reporting
  • To be successful in this role, you will :
  • Demonstrated passion for maintenance, supported by senior management experience within maintenance operations
  • Strong financial management skills, with a proven ability to effectively oversee assets and budgets
  • Established leadership capabilities, with a clear focus on supporting people, ensuring safety, and delivering quality outcomes
  • Highly proficient in developing and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders, fostering positive and collaborative partnerships
  • Solid understanding of local authority processes and / or NZTA procedures relevant to the Wellington region
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable legislation and contract standards, such as NZS
  • and NZS
