Timaru Girls’ High School is looking to recruit a full-time permanent food studies / home economics / hospitality teacher to start term 1, 2026.

We are seeking applicants with experience teaching food studies / home economics / hospitality across all levels and / or experience in the hospitality industry. Experience teaching Level 2 and 3 NCEA home economics would be an advantage.

In your cover letter, please list any other subjects you can teach.

The ideal candidate should deeply understand the curriculum and NCEA achievement standards and have a strong passion for food.
