Leasing Agent

Provide strategic Real Estate expertise to maximise leasing opportunities for the launch of UniLodge Auckland Central.

The Role & Property

As the Leasing Agent for our UniLodge Auckland Central location, you will be responsible for all aspects of the leasing journey, with support from the onsite and national management team.

You will be an enthusiastic and forward-thinking individual looking to make their mark across the student accommodation space.

The property offers premium rental living experiences across 758 guest rooms within the one complex.

Elevated living experiences are provided through onsite management, premium resident amenity areas, customer service focus and resident events & engagement programme.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead leasing efforts to maximise occupancy and minimise vacancies, consistently achieving targets in line with financial goals.

Collaborate closely with the General Manager, owners and cross-functional teams to roll out effective leasing strategies that drive revenue and long-term tenant satisfaction.

Negotiate new and renewal leases with confidence, using market data and smart incentive structures to strike the right balance between rental yield and occupancy.

Actively build a strong leasing pipeline by making strong business partnerships promoting the unique benefits of student accommodation, including premium amenities and lifestyle-focused services.

Stay ahead of the market with regular competitor analysis and pricing reviews, using insights to refine leasing approaches and boost conversion performance.

Implement and maintain key business partnerships to attract residents.

About You

With prior leasing experience in residential property management, you'll need to be proactive and adopt a mix of short-term and long-term strategies to retain and nurture existing residents, as well as attract new residents to the asset.

You must be a strong communicator and a natural at managing relationships with a desire to broaden your industry knowledge.

In addition you will have :

Worked in the real estate industry previously, with a strong understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act

Possess solid commercial acumen and strong knowledge of relevant state legislation.

A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Availability to work full time hours across Monday to Friday.

New Zealand Police Vetting (required).

Unrestricted Working Rights in New Zealand.
