Groundskeeper For A Kindy / Childcare

Wondernauts Centre Groundskeeper – Hamilton

Come join us at Wondernauts, a not-for-profit community childcare located in the beautiful grounds of Ruakura.

We would love to have another pair of hands to help us maintain our well-established beautiful grounds that we are so proud of.

Tasks include :

Trimming hedges and small shrubs / trees.

Doing lawn edges with a weed / line trimmer.

Spraying, weeding, blowing / sweeping up trimmings, fertilizing, and anything else to keep our grounds nice and tidy.

Some water blasting around the Centre (if possible).

Knowledge of fruit trees would be a bonus, as we try to grow as much of our fruit as possible, and we have pear, plums, apple, mandarin and feijoa trees here.

All tools are provided.

Requirements :

Previous gardening / landscaping experience would be great.

Experience with trimming hedges and fruit trees would be a bonus (but not required).

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment : 3-6 hours a week.
