Overview

We are a locally owned financial services company in Wellington seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our enterprise team. You will maintain, develop, and test software applications within our product portfolio and guide a team with your people-management experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain, develop, and test software applications within the product portfolio.
Mentor and guide team members, contribute to or design technical solutions, manage workloads, and ensure code quality meets standards.

Qualifications

Senior Developer level experience gained within New Zealand.

5+ years of experience in enterprise software development with the .NET stack.

Proven people leadership experience.

Object-oriented design and development background.

Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Experience with integration with REST APIs, distributed systems, and microservices.

Knowledge of agile methodologies, in particular Scrum.

Previous experience in the finance sector is desirable.

Working knowledge of event-driven design patterns.

Creative problem-solver who can identify issues in a product or platform and improve them.

Bachelor’s degree (ICT or related).
