Ohakune School is seeking a confident, creative educator to join our Year 7–8 Technology team, with a focus on sewing and food technology.

This role includes a 0.6 FTTE technology component working with three local schools and two days of release cover each week at the school.

We are looking for someone who is willing to engage in ongoing professional learning development in Structured Maths and Literacy, as the successful candidate will support the wider school through CRT and work with learners with diverse needs.

Qualifications

Current NZ teacher registration.

Practical skills in sewing and cooking.

Experience designing engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

Organised, flexible and confident in the technology curriculum.

Ability to build positive relationships with young people and contribute to school life.
