Overview

Are you naturally empathetic and an energetic individual who is ready to be the first point of contact for prospective and current akonga (students), as well as other external stakeholders?

This is an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity for a customer service superstar who is proficient in phone, email and face to face service.

You will have a natural desire to help akonga achieve their study and career aspirations, with an eye for detail and a thirst for knowledge.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $58,000 and $65,000, dependent on skills and experience.

The Customer and Information Advisor role is based in Wintec reporting to the Team Leader in the Student Enrolment and Information Centre.

To be successful in this role you will :

Be naturally empathetic, self-motivated and energetic.

Have excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills.

Have a tertiary qualification at level 5 or above or a minimum of 2-3 years' work experience in a customer facing role.

Have a broad understanding of Tertiary education in New Zealand.

Be able to assist with accurate data entry to a high standard, ensuring there are minimal delays for internal and external stakeholders.

Work co-operatively and be open to working closely with others in a team to achieve results together.
