Financial Executive (Budget & Control)

FINANCIAL EXECUTIVE (BUDGET & CONTROL)

In this role, you will :

Responsible for accurate and timely processing of budget transactions such as budget transfers, top-ups, and adjustments etc

Assist in responding to budget-related queries and provide support to internal stakeholders

Maintain and update master data in SAP, including fund centers and commitment items

Support the creation and management of internal orders for cost tracking

Assist in the annual business planning cycle including form preparation, scheduling review sessions, tracking submissions and reviewing of inputs for accuracy

Update and distribute monthly budget utilization reports and dashboards

Manage user access rights for financial dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring data security and appropriate access levels

Support monthly and year-end financial closing activities, including internal cost postings and revenue adjustments, ensuring accurate financial records

Track and report on grant utilisation, ensuring compliance and provide accurate financial reporting

Perform ad-hoc financial and administrative tasks as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Accountancy / Accounting & Finance / Business / Business & Accountancy / Business Administration / Business Finance / Finance / Finance & Accounting

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is an advantage

Familiar with financial systems such as SAP is an advantage

Good communication and interpersonal abilities

Basic understanding of budgeting and financial principles

Meticulous and strong organisational skills
