Companion Animal Veterinarian
At OurVets, you'll be part of a close-knit team.
Your role will encompass a balanced mix of consults and surgery, working alongside our experienced veterinarians and veterinary nurses.
Our clinic is well-equipped to support areas of special interest, and you'll enjoy a varied caseload.
This role would be well suited to a confident small animal veterinarian with at least a few years of experience, who would enjoy the opportunity for surgery up to 2 days per week on average.
What we offer
Work / life balance :
29.5 hours across a 4-day week with a mix of longer and shorter days.
No regular after-hours or on-call duties, with a backup roster approximately 3-4 times per year.
Only 1 : 5 Saturdays and no public holidays.

Looking for you :
BVSc qualified (or equivalent) and registered, or eligible to practice in New Zealand.
3+ years of experience, comfortable with routine surgery and consultations.
We are looking for a collaborative team player, who is able to utilise our wonderful nurses effectively, and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
