Design Engineer (Start Asap)

Design Engineer role in Auckland focusing on design, pricing, planning, and tendering for a leading electricity and fibre network provider.Your RoleHere's what you will be doing : Designing, pricing, planning, and tendering services contributing to company success.Preparing work methodologies and ensuring peer review of designs and pricing before submission.Providing technical expertise and advice to internal and external stakeholders.Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.Conducting site visits to scope projects and prepare accurate tenders.Preparing precise pricing, tender documentation, and project records.Producing CAD construction and as-built drawings to specification.Reporting to the Design Engineering Team Leader at the Auckland Depot.About YouThe company is looking for : Experienced Design Engineers or Estimators in the electricity distribution industry.Practical field-based professionals transitioning into an engineering role.Recent electrical engineering graduates eager to learn and grow.Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, power systems, and distribution networks.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Great written and verbal communication skills.A full, clean New Zealand driver's licence.Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project).
