About The Role
The Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology plays a vital role, working collaboratively with the team to provide effective, high-quality leadership across all areas of service delivery. The key aims are to ensure access to high-quality specialist care, alongside supporting the Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty goals of reducing health disparity and improving outcomes for Māori.
This role provides direct leadership, coaching, and support to colleagues within the service, and participates in recruitment, professional reviews, and practice development.
About You
Critical requirements :
As a respected Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience, you will have proven attributes of a team player and be passionate about the wellbeing of our people and patients.
