As an Associate Charge Nurse (ACN) in our Orthopaedic Ward, you will play a key role in coordinating high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting the professional development of your team.

  • About the Role
  • As ACN, you'll support the Charge Nurse in leading the Orthopaedic Ward, ensuring safe, effective, and culturally responsive care.

    • You'll provide clinical leadership, manage patient flow, support quality improvement initiatives, and mentor nursing staff.

    This is a senior nursing role with influence across the service and wider organisation

  • About You
  • We're looking for someone who :
  • Is a Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate
  • Has a minimum of 5 years post-registration nursing experience
  • Is working towards or has completed a Postgraduate Diploma
  • Is progressing toward Expert Level (4) PDRP
  • Has completed Treaty of Waitangi and Cultural Responsiveness training
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills
