Job description

HS Automotive Limited is seeking a reliable and committed Courier Driver to support its NZcourier delivery operations.

You must be reliable, punctual and efficient, with a strong focuson the timely and accurate delivery of packages, documents, and goods, to customers andbusinesses.

Committed to maintaining excellent customer service while ensuring items aredelivered in perfect condition.The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent timemanagement skills.The role is Tuesday to Saturday, 30 to 45 hours per week.Starting time 5.00am every day.

What we require from you : 1.

Class 1 full driver's license with Dangerous Goods (D) endorsement OR EquivalentInternational Driver's license2.

Previous experience as a courier driver or in a similar delivery role preferred3.

Strong communication and time management skills4.

Must be reliable, honest, and able to work independently5.

Physically fit and strong – must be able to lift heavy objects up to 30kg

Key Responsibilities : ? Safely and efficiently deliver packages, documents, and goods to residential andcommercial locations on time.

  • ? Handle urgent or time-sensitive deliveries with professionalism.
  • ? Receive delivery instructions from customers and verify delivery information.
  • ? Collect signatures and maintain accurate documentation for each delivery.
  • ? Deliver items to customer premises and mailboxes.
  • ? Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
  • ? Load and unload items and internal handling equipment securely to prevent damageor loss.
  • ? Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes using GPS and local knowledge.
  • ? Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • ? Keep accurate records of all items received and delivered.
  • ? Maintain delivery documentation, including walk books, equipment logs, and mailcounts.
  • ? Assist with receipting inward mail and processing freepost or underpaid mail.
  • ? Check and handle misaddressed, missorted, undelivered, and redirected items.
  • ? Assist with basic warehouse tasks such as sorting, scanning, and organizing parcelsduring downtime.
