We are looking for a Gluing Assistant that can work two rotating shifts. The Gluing Assistant is responsible to the Finishing Department Glueing Supervisor for the safe and effective operation of Opal Cartons. The finishing assistant is expected to work as part of a team and contribute to the operation of the plant to achieve product that is on time and within specification.

Working hours : two Rotating Shifts (Monday - Friday)

4am-12pm

12pm-8pm

Your responsibilities will involve

  • Packing, feeding on gluers, heavy lifting
  • Sorting product
  • Generating labels
  • Setting auto tappers
  • Operating banding machine
  • Hand gluing
  • Training temps if applicable
  • Quality checks
  • Communicating effectively
  • Cleaning
  • Assisting operator with tasks around machines
  • Line clearances and pre-make readies of jobs to follow
