About the Opportunity

We’re building simple, smart technology that works for farmers and their stakeholders. This role is central to how we deliver that. You’ll lead mobile application development across our platform, owning architecture, delivery quality, and technical leadership. We need someone who can lift standards, guide others confidently, and collaborate closely across the business. This is a long‑term role. You’ll be part of the core team shaping how we scale. The role is permanently based in Waharoa, New Zealand. If you are relocating, we’ll support that process.

What You’ll Lead

• End-to-end mobile development across Android and iOS, including feature planning, architecture, development, testing, and deployment.
• Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing internal engineering capability, building a culture of accountability and shared ownership.
• Work directly with product, operations, and leadership to translate needs into technical solutions that are reliable, scalable, and user-friendly.
• Set development standards, review code, and improve system design, testing, and delivery processes.
• Manage release cycles, deployment strategies, version upgrades, and ongoing performance improvements.
• Collaborate with external partners, offshore developers, and hardware vendors, including direct communication with manufacturing and integration partners in China.
