Now, we're on the lookout for a Domestic Technician to join our Christchurch Airport branch and help us keep our fleet clean, safe, and road-trip ready.

What You'll Be Doing?

As a Domestic Technician, you\'ll be the first point of care for our motorhomes and campervans once they return from a customer journey.

Your primary purpose will be to complete minor repairs and ensure vehicles meet Travvia's high presentation and safety standards.

You\'ll play a vital role in maintaining the customer experience, ensuring our travellers begin and end their adventures with confidence and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Perform minor domestic repairs and maintenance on returned vehicles

Ensure all work is completed to Travvia's compliance and quality standards

Maintain accurate records of completed work

Assist with operational support across the branch

Support mechanics where required

Respond professionally to customer questions or concerns during drop-off

Escalate unresolved issues or vehicle concerns to management

Uphold a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment

Comply with health and safety regulations at all times

What We're Looking For?

A good general knowledge of car mechanics

A strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A valid NZ full driver's licence

A proactive mindset and ability to work independently

The ability to work rostered shifts, including weekends

Team player with a can-do attitude

Previous experience in tourism, automotive, or customer-facing roles is a bonus

Comfortable using email and basic computer systems
