We have an exciting opportunity to join our Geotechnics team based in Christchurch as an Intermediate / Senior Field Technician.
To be successful in this position, you will have a track record illustrating a strong work ethic and the ability to deliver high-quality work.
You will also have strong competency in Microsoft Word and Excel to an intermediate level, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team on some unique projects.
Kei te hiahia matou ki ou pukenga | We want your skills Geotechnical field-testing and investigation Operation of heavy testing and soil sampling equipment Monitoring of geotechnical instrumentation Environmental monitoring Contract administration and data entry Na tou rourou | What you'll bring 5 years + fieldwork experience in a technical role A good level of physical fitness as the role also involves heavy lifting of machinery Good team player and personality Must be willing to get hands dirty and enjoy working outdoors High standard and quality of paperwork Diverse project experience Excellent time management skills Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills A desire to develop and share knowledge Someone who can get things happening, a proactive initiator An appreciation of the importance of quality management systems and processes A full drivers licence and ability to operate a manual vehicle.
