We pride ourselves on delivering excellence in transportation services from collection to delivery.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Store Person to load and unload our clients' freight, ensuring the product is received in a prime and quality condition.This is a fulltime role working on our afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, with rostered weekends, based at our Auckland depot.What you'll be doingAssist with the loading / unloading of trucksPositioning pallets, checking and sorting freightChecking line-haul units are operating at correct temperatures before opening doors to unloadEnsuring both the chiller and freezer floors are clear every morning and any remaining items are loaded to the correct runs before departureEnsuring Health and Safety compliance - both personally and within the teamAbout YouMinimum 1-2 years' experience operating a ForkliftExperience in freight loading in temperature-controlled environments - advantageousKeen understanding of inventory management and cycle of order fulfilmentExperience working in temperature-controlled environments - advantageousCommitted to working together as a team to achieve shared goalsOur ValuesAt Big Chill, our core values are the foundation of everything we do.
