With major infrastructure projects underway in the Pacific, McConnell Dowell is looking for an experienced Truck Driver / Hiab Crane Operator to join our team in Tonga.
This role plays a key part in supporting site operations through safe transport, lifting, and movement of materials across the project.
This is a swing-based role.
Key responsibilities include : Operating trucks, Hiab cranes, and site vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensuring all activities comply with McConnell Dowell's Integrated Management System, project plans, and safety requirements.
Completing daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and adhering to all site safety processes.
Reporting hazards, incidents, and mechanical or electrical faults promptly.
Supporting general laboring duties where required to assist project teams.
Maintaining a strong commitment to quality, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
About You Current and valid Class 2, 4, or 5 license, with WTR endorsements.
Demonstrated experience driving trucks and operating Hiab cranes on civil or infrastructure projects.
Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow directions effectively.
Motivated, reliable, and committed to meeting schedules and targets.
A strong safety mindset and proactive approach to identifying hazards.
