Full time, Permanent

We are a well-established community based early childhood education centre, offering high quality education and care in a safe and stimulating, play-based environment catering for up to 39 tamariki aged from 3 months to 6 years of age.

As centre manager, you'll step into a leadership role that's as rewarding as it is challenging.

You'll have the opportunity to shape the culture of the centre, build strong partnerships, and uplift your team with purpose and passion.

In this role, you will :

Inspire and lead a committed team of educators

Build strong, respectful relationships with tamariki, whanau, and kaiako

Champion high-quality teaching and learning practices

Coach and develop your team to achieve their full potential

Ensure compliance, curriculum, and planning are delivered with excellence

Lead with purpose, heart, and clarity every day.

To be successful, you'll have :

A Level 7 ECE qualification and a current NZ teaching certification

Proven experience in leadership, ideally as a centre manager or head teacher

Sound knowledge of ECE regulations and Te Whariki

A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive practice

A growth mindset, coaching skills, and a passion for quality.
