What This Role Is About
The Women\'s Day Programme Support Worker (Kaimahi) provides trauma-informed, person-centered support to women accessing our drop-in programme. This programme serves women who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, addiction, poverty, and systemic marginalisation.
The kaimahi helps create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment where women can access basic needs, build trusting relationships, and engage in supportive services that foster stability, empowerment, and community connection. This role is an opportunity to be part of a deeply meaningful program that prioritises dignity, community, and healing. You\'ll join a team committed to social justice and to walking alongside women as they reclaim stability, safety, and hope.
This is a permanent role, Monday-Friday, 20-30 hours per week to be worked between the hours of 8 : 30am-4 : 30pm.
