About the roleWe are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join our Southland team based in Invercargill.
Your focus will be on ensuring all products and services "first and last mile" are delivered and picked up in a manner that meets our service standards and our customers' expectations.You'll be responsible for leading and managing teams of front-line service delivery staff including Delivery Agents, Couriers and Rural Delivery Contractors.This is a challenging and exciting role with variety.
You\'ll be involved in any or all of these responsibilities, from : Regular check-ins with your team (including Satellite sites)Managing team performance and site safetyBuilding internal culture and relationshipsUsing IT and Excel skills to provide reporting / analysisManaging rosters and budgetsRecruiting and onboardingBeing a key point of contact for customers and handling escalationsReporting to our Area Service Delivery Manager – Invercargill, the role operates Monday to Friday, ideally from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, with flexibility to work a combination of hours including early mornings, late afternoons and occasional Saturdays to ensure visibility across teams and shifts.This is an opportunity for a dynamic, commercially savvy and people-focused team leader to really make their mark.About youYou'll be an experienced, hands-on people leader with proven experience in developing positive teams, combined with the ability to multitask and keep many balls in the air.You'll bring : Leadership style that drives a high performing, customer-centric and thriving team cultureCustomer service and relationship management skillsStrong commercial acumen, including budgets, financials and analytical skillsAbility to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation, including presenting to groupsTech savviness – comfortable using MS Office including Outlook, Teams and ExcelExperience of managing relationships within a contractor environment will stand you in good stead.About NZ PostNZ Post is an iconic organisation with a rich history and bright future.
