Key Responsibilities

Provide expert advice grounded in in-depth knowledge of NZ tax legislation, case law, and IRD rulings

Lead and mentor junior tax team members to deliver outstanding client outcomes

Build strong client relationships through clear, proactive, and strategic communication

Conduct detailed research to deliver high-quality tax opinions and practical recommendations

Oversee the tax lodgement programme and manage client payment obligations

Analyse financial statements to uncover tax implications and planning opportunities

Translate complex tax findings into actionable strategies tailored to client needs

Integrate broader financial insights into your tax advisory approach

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

CA qualified or hold a relevant Law degree

4 to 7+ years of NZ-based tax experience in professional or corporate services

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-first approach

Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Highly organised with strong attention to detail
