We are seeking a New Zealand registered teacher who is able to work collaboratively and has the ability to motivate and inspire learners in all areas of the Curriculum.
We describe our small school as 'a country school in the city'. Our school's Brigidene charism of Strength with Gentleness filters through everything we do as we work towards creating authentic learning opportunities for our tamariki and a welcoming school environment for our close-knit community.
We are looking for an experienced teacher who is strong in literacy and numeracy. Training in Structured Literacy is an advantage. Our school teaches Maths using the Maths No Problem resource.
Having had experience teaching in a Catholic school is an advantage.
The teacher would need to be flexible, a good communicator, and work well as part of a supportive team.
Having the ability to maintain programmes and activities that reflect the Catholic special character of the school shall be a condition of appointment.
