Despatch / Storage Coordinator

Join our dynamic team as a despatch and storage coordinator. This exciting role offers the chance to work in a pivotal position, serving as the central point of communication and coordination who ensures the efficient movement of cyro preserved semen and embryos throughout New Zealand.

The role is suitable for someone who has exceptional organisation skills and enjoys working within a small team environment for a locally owned and operated business. This is a front of house role and applicants must have a friendly personality, be forward thinking with a can-do attitude and a problem-solving mindset.

Previous experience in handling semen and embryos with liquid nitrogen would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

This is a 40 hour-week position with predominant hours between 8am and 5pm based at our facility in Woodend in North Canterbury.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of accurate records and storage data input
• Dealing with client requests as they occur in a professional manner
• Despatching of company products eg, semen, embryos, liquid nitrogen, equipment on time as per company procedure
• Maintaining the export storage facility to a high standard of accuracy
• Complying with the storage Operational Code regulations from MPI for artificial breeding centers
• Administer stock-take, stock reconciliation when required (usually annually)
• Responsible for managing liquid nitrogen supply via Ln2
• Packing and counting straws of all species
