Location :   Christchurch, Canterbury region

Employment Type : Full-time, Permanent

Pay Rate – NZD 30-35 per hour

About Us :

We are a growing organisation committed to delivering excellent service to our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to oversee both customer service operations and office administration. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage people, processes, and day-to-day operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and review policies, programs, and procedures to support customer relations, service delivery, and office operations.
  • Plans and implements after-sales services to handle complaints, refund requests and other feedback
  • Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, professionals, service providers, and internal teams to identify and respond to customer expectations
  • Assist in planning and evaluating office services and performance standards.
  • Allocate staff, workspace, and equipment, assign tasks, and monitor employee performance.
  • Manages office records and accounts
  • Ensure office equipment and supplies are regularly maintained and replenished.
  • Ensure office compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, as well as relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage and train customer service and office staff, while coordinating HR activities including recruitment, promotions, performance management, payroll, training, and supervision.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to staff members.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification at Level 4 or above or in management, finances or any relevant area of study
  • At least 2 years’ relevant work experience may substitute for a formal qualification
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and customer service systems
  • Organisational, scheduling, time‑management and coaching capabilities
