Rope Access Technician

Purpose of the Role

Roped access slope stabilisation works and ground based construction works.

Qualifications

Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed

Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience

Must hold valid operable driving licence

Must be physically fit

Must have New Zealand Residency / citizenship or valid work visa rights

Must represent the company professionally at all times

Employee may be required to travel between multiple locations

General Duties

Maintain and servicing rope access equipment, keep all rope access and plant equipment well maintained and in good working order.

Undertake pre-start inspections and immediately report any defects to your supervisor.

Diligently undertake site works as directed by your Senior Site Supervisor or Supervisor, only operate plant and equipment you have been trained on and approved to operate.

Set an example of proactive high health and safety standards and ensure others on site adhere to good health and safety practices.

Ensure any actions that may impact the environment are reported to your supervisor and acted on quickly and in a safe manner, minimise waste and energy usage.

The quality of your work should be carried out in accordance with our quality policy, ensure good site records are kept, including H&S paperwork, drill logs, installation records, daily briefings, H&S incident reports.

Maintain and timely submission of accurate and detailed timesheets.
