Enable New Zealand is one of the largest providers of support services across the health, rehabilitation and disability sector for the provision of equipment, housing and vehicle modifications holding regional and national contracts with the Ministry of Health, ACC and District Health Boards. Our head office is located in Palmerston North, with sites in Christchurch and Hamilton.

This role is a full-time position for a minimum of 40 hours per week – fixed term from December 2025 to June 2026. The position is Palmerston North based with flexible options available. Role purpose

Work with stakeholders across the business to identify, document and manage business processes, identify business process improvements, and support the development of related standard operating procedures.

Support business stakeholders by designing and developing reports and dashboards and analysing data for business improvement and research.

Where system change is required, elicit the business requirements, support the design and development of the system changes. As required assist in the development of end user training material and deliver training and induction. These activities may be required as part of business‑as‑usual patches and service packs for systems, or larger systems projects.

This role will support Enable New Zealand’s endeavors to improve process efficiency and / or eliminate non-value‑adding activities. This could include automating aspects of transactional processes, addressing challenges in current technology solutions used, redesigning processes to focus on best practice and value‑adding customer activities, developing an ideas / innovation culture that is focused on process time reduction and value creation across the customer journey.

Role responsibilities

• Business Process Modelling – Develop and manage the enterprise business process model, identifying and recommending business process improvements. Support development of Standard Operating Procedures for business units ensuring they align with the enterprise business process model.
• Business Requirements – Elicit business requirements from business users and the IT department including functional and non‑functional requirements. Ensure the Business Requirements are delivered as expected for the key stakeholders, users and customers.
• Testing – Input into the Development of Test Management Plans and test artefacts including scenarios and test scripts and ensure the testing scope and test artefacts sufficiently test solutions so that the Business Requirements are delivered as expected for the key stakeholders, users and customers.
• Reporting – Elicit reporting requirements from Managers and Executives and build the required Reports and / or Dashboards, ensuring these are tested and approved by the appropriate stakeholders.
• Training – As required assist in the development of end user training material and deliver training and induction.
