Join the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) as Advisor, National Security Policy and Coordination, and play a pivotal role in safeguarding New Zealand's security and resilience.

DPMC's National Security and Resilience Group is seeking three Advisors to support policy development on dynamic, high-profile, and significant national security issues in a collaborative, cross-agency environment.
Successful applicants will support the provision of advice to Ministers and Chief Executives, coordination of work programmes across government, and engagement with international counterparts.
These are exciting roles at the heart of central government.
You'll work with agencies across the public service, including NZ intelligence, defence, security, and more, on a range of topics highlighted in the National Security Strategy and National Risk and Resilience Framework.

To succeed in this role, you will bring :
Security Requirements | Nga Whakaritenga Haumarutanga
You must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Special security clearance.
Normally to obtain this level of clearance you must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a Resident class visa.
Alternatively, you must have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia with a 15-year checkable background.

The salary range starts from $82,751 - $87,348 p / annum including KiwiSaver contributions and appointments will depend on demonstrable skills and experience.
