About Foodstuffs Own Brands
Foodstuffs Own Brands is a 100% New Zealand owned and operated organisation, owned by the two Foodstuffs regional co-operatives. Foodstuffs Own Brands is the business responsible for product development, sourcing, and quality control on private label products exclusively for the Foodstuffs retail and wholesale banners nationally.
We own several brands, the most iconic of which is the much-loved Pams brand which holds the title of New Zealand’s leading grocery brand. Our brands have been such a big part of the kitchens, dinner tables and homes of New Zealanders for over 80 years. From our humble beginnings when we supplied just Pams baking and custard powder, we now boast a range of over 3000 products with everything from baking to butchery, to fresh produce and grocery. We aim to inspire New Zealanders with affordable, high quality, innovative products that are supported by simple yet delicious recipes, mealtime solution and household tips.
About the Role
In this key role as Product Developer, you’ll be part of a team that is building the most popular grocery brand in New Zealand. We need your expertise to provide project assistance in the development and commercialisation of new products, product improvement and value engineering to meet target price points without compromising customer perceived quality.

Our ideal Foodie is someone with FMCG product development experience and passion for great product. Relevant New Zealand and / or International FMCG Supermarket retail or supplier experience in product development is an essential requirement.
