The Top Energy Group operates throughout the Far North delivering geothermal electricity generation and electricity network operations.
Our purpose is providing affordable and sustainable energy for Far North consumers, which we are achieving by transforming the Top Energy Group into a technology-enabled energy company that generates and facilitates two-way energy flow between renewable energy generators and consumers.
We are currently seeking a CAD Technician to provide CAD Design Services to the Network division.
This role reports to the CAD Manager and is based at our Kerikeri office.
Key areas of focus will be to :
Prepare, edit, and check design drawings for project work
Create as built and structure drawings
Provide CAD support to the division and prepare other drawings and plans as required
Create and manage construction drawings, wiring schematics, panel layouts, R&I diagrams
Prepare 2D and 3D design drawings
Assist with 3D scanning and data aggregation
Keep abreast of new applications and developments in the CAD field
To succeed in this role, it is essential to have previous experience in AutoCAD for 2D drawings, and 3D drawings using Autodesk, with an advanced level of computer skills using Microsoft Office.
A Full current Driver's License is also a requirement of the role.
It is preferred that the successful candidate will have more than 5 years' experience in CAD (Autodesk suite of products).
