Development Nous is a multi-disciplinary civil engineering consultancy based in Hawke’s Bay and Manawatū, with a strong forward workload across infrastructure, land development, and structural engineering projects.

We’re looking for a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with proven experience in civil infrastructure and land development to lead projects, mentor junior staff, and deliver high-quality outcomes for clients and communities.

Note : Applicants must currently live in New Zealand and have the legal right to work here.

About the Role

• Lead the design and delivery of civil infrastructure and land development projects including roading, stormwater, wastewater, and water reticulation.
• Manage project scopes, budgets, and timelines, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and graduates.
• Collaborate with clients, planners, project managers, and other specialists across disciplines.
• Contribute to business development and strategic planning.
