SICHUAN TONGUE ACACIA CATERING LTD is a Chinese Sichuan cuisine restaurant based in Christchurch.

We are currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team.

This is a full-time position where you will work for a minimum of 30 hours per week.KEY TASK :

  • Collaborating with chefs to plan menus and organizing special events.
  • Coordinating the purchasing and pricing of goods within budgetary constraints.
  • Maintaining accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions.
  • Ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining cleanliness and functionality of dining facilities.
  • Engaging with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service.
  • Selecting, training, and supervising waiting and kitchen staff.
  • Handling reservations, greeting guests, and assisting in taking orders as needed.
  • Any other duties the employer / company may reasonably require

REQUIREMENTS :

NZQCF Level 4 relevant qualification OR at least 2 years of relevant experience

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of orders.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
