    About the Role

    We're seeking a Portfolio Systems Transformation Manager to lead the national rollout, transition, and enhancement of our Project Portfolio Management (PPM) systems - Planview and Procore. This pivotal role will drive systems change across the Infrastructure and Investment Group, integrating national and regional portfolios into a unified IIG portfolio.

    You will lead systems change across the Infrastructure and Investment Group, driving the integration of national and regional portfolios into a unified IIG portfolio. This role will support the Portfolio Management Office by embedding standardised practices through consistent use of PPM systems, enhancing transparency in portfolio reporting and analytics, and implementing lifecycle controls and audit-ready processes that strengthen organisational accountability and risk management.

    About the Team / Service / Location

    The mission of the Health New Zealand Infrastructure and Investment Group (IIG) is to provide the safe, fit for purpose health facilities, sites and equipment that are essential for a well-functioning health system. The IIG leads investment by understanding and managing these well, ensuring health facilities, sites, and equipment with the highest need of investment are prioritised and standardising the way these are delivered, maintained, refurbished or redeveloped.

    You're someone who loves making systems work better and helping people adapt to change. You're confident leading projects that involve technology, processes, and people, and you know how to bring everyone along for the journey. You're practical, collaborative, and great at turning complex ideas into clear actions.

    You enjoy working with different teams and building strong relationships. You're comfortable managing multiple priorities and finding solutions when things get tricky. You understand the importance of good governance and transparency, but you also know how to keep things moving and make improvements quickly and you want to make a positive impact on health outcomes for all New Zealanders.

    You will have :

    • At least one of : PMP®, MSP™, Reg PM, PRINCE2, IPMA Level C, Agile, PROSCI.
    • 10+ years' experience managing diverse projects, including PPM platform rollouts.
    • Experience leading a PMO in a large, complex organisation.
    • Strong knowledge of Planview, Procore, or equivalent PPM systems.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to equity.
