About the role
GS1 New Zealand operated multiple software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms that enable effective and accurate product data & content synchronisation across the supply chain.
We have an opportunity for a talented individual to join our Implementation Team in either our Auckland or Wellington office, supporting our expansion into the Food & Grocery, Hardware, and Healthcare sectors – with a particular focus on Food & Grocery.
As an Implementation Specialist, you will be working across various industries and businesses to embed GS1 standards and service solutions within their processes.
Your key area of involvement will be in onboarding new customers to our data management software, and supporting data services for existing customers.
In the Implementation Specialist role, you will also collaborate on solution design with some of our more complex customers – both on the supply- and demand-side.
You'll be working closely with our Sector Managers, strengthening relationships with major demand-side customers, and ensure the smooth rollout of strategic programmes.
Key Focus of the Role
Engaging customers to run defined GS1 software implementation programs
Complex solution design to support large clients as they integrate to GS1 systems
Frequentlyrunning training sessions : one-on-one, webinars and seminars
Quickly developing a strong understanding of multiple software platforms and business processes
Solving complex customer problems in a user support role
Maintaining project records, plans, status reports, and other related documentation.
Working closely with Sector & Territory Managers to developing strong relationships with key demand & supply-side clients
Skills and experience
This is a great opportunity and ideally you will have :
Tertiary qualification in business, supply chain, management science, information systems or similar
2 years' relevant experience in a professional business environment
Possess strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Experience or have a desire to run customer training and seminars
Have basic awareness of B2B processes and B2C online content
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of products in particular MS Excel
Excellent customer service skills backed by experience in a help-desk or service support environment
