The purpose of this position is to assist all factory teams to ensure the availability and reliability of all mechanical plant on site, to achieve the required level of performance as specified in the Business Plan.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute maintenance tasks (scheduled and emergent) relevant to mechanical equipment on site.Implementation and development of routine maintenance checks and associated standard maintenance procedures.Assist with the development, and application of safe and practical machinery isolation practices.Break down fault finding, basic root cause analysis and development of solutions to extend plant life and avoid breakdowns.Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures for installed equipment.Key AttributesProven maintenance fitter experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentQualified Mechanical Technician - Mechanical Trade Certificate or equivalentExperience with cost controlFamiliar with problem solving and risk identification tools.Full NZ driver licence class 1Flexible to support day & night shifts.Who we are : Founded in
