The team is supported by a registrar, a house officer and a clinical speciality nurse and moving forward an additional registered nurse to support.

The department is well equipped for all aspects of modern head and neck health care.There are opportunities to develop sub-specialist interests that will complement the department's current service.

We also have close ties with allied health departments, other specialties that we interact with, as well as regional and tertiary services to provide a comprehensive package of care.

The department also provides medical education for undergraduate students and postgraduates.Hawke's Bay facility is situated in Hastings, New Zealand, a region of over 162,000 people.

The hospital is a modern facility with a large range of surgical, medical, oncology and radiological services.
