About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic nursing leader
to join our medical cluster and lead the Ward 12 and Coronary Care nursing teams.
We are looking for a collaborative senior nurse with strong interpersonal
skills, innovative thinking, and the ability to problem solve and respond in
this fast-paced environment.
This is a new position following a restructure and the role will
provide nursing leadership to the two teams in taking the service forward and strengthening
nursing models of care.
About the Team / Service
Coronary Care is a 9-bed high care unit for patients with
cardiology conditions requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
It also provides
centralised telemetry monitoring for other inpatient areas.
Ward 12 is a 28-bed
Cardiology ward with adjacent short stay activity.
Nurses are specialised in cardiology and providing nursing
care to patients who present with a range of cardiology conditions requiring acute
medical management and Cath Lab intervention including structural heart and
electrophysiology procedures.
You will work closely with and be well supported by the
Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Specialists in leading and supporting the
teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care.
