Warehouse Assistant (Volunteer Role)

Do you have a few spare hours each week and a heart for helping others? Nurturing Families is expanding our volunteer team and we’d love to welcome some dedicated new faces to our friendly warehouse crew.

We provide essential material items to families across Tāmaki Makaurau who are going through tough times. Behind every order we send out is a team of volunteers who make it all possible.

What you’ll be doing :

Sorting and folding donations from our community and partners

Packing customised orders for families in crisis

Helping with general warehouse tasks (restocking, tidying, organising)

Making sure our space is welcoming, efficient, and ready to respond to urgent needs

What we’re looking for :

Volunteers who can commit to 1–2 shifts per week (shifts are usually 2–4 hours, M-F)

Reliable, team players who don’t mind rolling up their sleeves

People who want to make a meaningful difference in their community
