We support our partners to succeed, delivering a breadth of IT solutions to New Zealand and South Pacific customers. We have an exciting opportunity for a BDM to join our team in Auckland, aligned to the strategic Cisco technology portfolio. The role is responsible for developing and increasing sales of the Cisco technology portfolio.

This role blends sharp planning, persuasive sales and powerful partnerships all while collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver unified, high impact results. IT sales does\'t get much better than this. This role is all about generating new business and elevating margins, responsible for :

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a high call cycle across our reseller and end user channel, developing and maintaining high quality relationships with key business influencers within the Reseller and Vendor community and internal teams
  • Increasing sales via influence of the Cisco technology portfolio to new and existing resellers
  • Active involvement in deals and campaigns, reseller enablement and supporting resellers in sales activities
  • Meet and exceed both Cisco and Westcon-Comstor revenue targets by uncovering and developing net new business

Qualifications

  • Proven experience and strong network in NZ\'s technology and IT sales sector
  • A thorough understanding of Cisco technologies
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Commercially savvy with solid grasp of pricing, margins, and profitability
  • Solid experience in reporting, forecasting and rating the deals in your pipeline
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and leadership, with ability to motivate virtual team performance
  • Professional, proactive, and customer focused with a strong sense of urgency
  • Highly organised, motivated, and effective under pressure
