Assistant Programme Manager - Papatoetoe Central

Overview

As an Assistant Programme Manager , you’ll be the friendly face that makes the mornings and afternoons unforgettable for children. This role has a minimum contracted hours of 10 per week and operates mainly around after-school hours (2.45pm – 5pm) with some before-school shifts when required (7am – 8.30am). The role is located in Papatoetoe Central.

At sKids, we believe childhood should be full of laughter, learning, and adventure. We’ve been delivering out-of-school experiences since 1996 and currently welcome more than 3,800 kids daily across over 170 school sites in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Bring the fun by supervising and supporting tamariki through a mix of exciting, safe activities each day
• Collaborate with your Programme Manager to run engaging sessions that keep kids energized
• Act as an extra set of eyes and ears to spot wellbeing, behaviour, or safety concerns and ensure everyone feels supported
• Connect with parents and schools, maintaining warm and positive communication
• Be a team player who helps the crew to keep the programme running smoothly
