Tāngoio Marae Trust is leading the rebuild of our marae - a once-in-a-generation kaupapa uniting our whānau to build a home for our hapū and the generations to come.
We are seeking a Kaitakawaenga to help lead and coordinate this major project, connecting people, culture, and progress across all parts of the rebuild.
About the Role
The Kaitakawaenga will support the Trust to plan, coordinate, and communicate across the marae rebuild. You’ll help keep the kaupapa organised and informed, preparing updates, supporting hui, tracking milestones, and strengthening relationships with whānau, partners, and cultural experts.
You’ll also work closely with the technical project lead and others involved in the design and build process, ensuring communication stays clear, decisions are well informed, and our tikanga, values, and hapū aspirations are reflected at every step.
This is a leadership role for someone who can hold both the detail and the bigger picture, keeping people, purpose, and progress aligned.
