About the role
The role is responsible for coordinating the outsourcing process between surgical services and private providers in the Southern District. The role identifies patients who are suitable to be outsourced and then manages their journey through the health system to ensure a successful outcome. A key aspect of their role is to maximise, within budget, the number of patients that can be outsourced. A key measure of success is the reduction in Southern's number of long waiting surgical patients.

You will bring excellent assessment skills along with a passion and focus for working with families / whanau to provide a high standard of care. You will be clinically focused and able to exercise independent nursing judgement and have strong problem-solving skills together with the ability to communicate effectively.

Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the Pay Scale, between $81,683 and $106,739 p.a dependent on relevant experience.
