In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough asbestos analysis and maintaining laboratory accreditations whilst adhering to strict quality assurance standards.Perform bulk identification, asbestos in soil analysis (both P / A and S / Q), and fibre counting in the laboratoryEnsure equipment and compliance systems are maintained in accordance with ISO standardsAdhere to the conditions of ISO

• at all timesAssist with technical and quality tasks as requiredAct as a training mentor for internal staffParticipate in internal and third-party proficiency testing programmes and ensure satisfactory results are achievedContribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and proceduresMaintain accurate and detailed records of all analyses and tests performedCollaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standardsStay up-to-date with the latest developments in asbestos analysis techniques and safety regulationsQualificationsTertiary qualification in Science or equivalent qualification / experienceMinimum of two years' experience in asbestos analysis, including bulk identification, fibre counting, and soil analysisDemonstrated knowledge of ISO
