What We're Looking For :
Proven Experience : A NZ registered Certificate in Cookery L4 or at least 3 years as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen.
Flexibility : Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Creativity : A passion for creating menus and memorable dishes that surprise and delight.
Food Safety Knowledge : Up-to-date understanding of New Zealand's Food Control Plans and compliance standards.
Knowledge : a knowledge of food trends and dietary requirements as well as an ability to demonstrate techniques and advice on cooking procedures.
Team Player : The ability to collaborate effectively and maintain a positive kitchen environment.
What You'll Be Doing :
Prepare and present fresh, seasonal salads and plated dishes with care and consistency
Collaborate closely with fellow chefs to maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment
Ensure the kitchen remains clean, safe, and well-organized at all times
Contribute to all aspects of kitchen operations, including dishwashing and general cleaning duties
Support and uphold our commitment to sustainability, wellness, and quality in every dish served
This position offers a minimum of 30 hours per week.
