The employerThe employer is one of Hamilton's most prominent automotive dealership groups.

The facility is well equipped with the automotive refinishing facility involved in a variety of basic to moderately complex tasks.The roleWith the employer being a new and late model NZ franchise vehicle dealership, the role primarily involves pre-sale preparation.

Repairs include preparation and spraying scratches, stone chips, repairs to alloy wheels and a range of pre-sales repairs and component replacements, such as bumpers, mirrors etc.The skilled requiredGood colour matching skills are required for this role and the ability to work with solvent based paint systems.

Experience across the work outlined is essential.

While a relevant spray painter / automotive refinishing trade qualification is preferable, consideration would also be given to candidates with the appropriate experience.

The majority of vehicles are late model cars of a high quality with also some work on camper vans and other vehicles such as utilities and vans.Remuneration and benefitsThe employer provides an excellent work environment acknowledged as being a preferred employer environment with potential career scope in the franchise group over time.
